Job summary

E-Frontiers in Ireland is seeking an experienced MEP Design Manager to lead and coordinate all MEP design activities from pre-construction through handover on large-scale projects. This role offers visibility, design quality control, and strong collaboration with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Based in Maynooth / Leixlip, the position is permanent with a hybrid working model. You will drive design milestones, QA, and manage BIM/CAD workflows, ensuring compliant, high-value outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in MEP engineering with relevant industry experience.
• Proven track record in MEP design coordination, site inspections and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of BIM, CAD tools and digital design management.
• Fluent English with excellent stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all MEP design deliverables for projects.
• Serve as the central point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams on MEP matters.
• Drive design milestones, QA processes and controlled design changes.
• Oversee review/approval of drawings and submittals; support BIM coordination and as-built docs.

The Role - MEP Design Manager

MEP Design Manager Location: Maynooth - onsite Salary: €80 - 100K plus benefits DOE

As MEP Design Manager, you will lead and coordinate all MEP design activities from pre-construction through handover, ensuring design quality, compliance, and seamless collaboration across internal and external stakeholders. This is a highly visible role with strong influence on project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all MEP design deliverables in line with client and construction requirements
• Act as the central point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams on MEP design matters
• Drive design milestones, quality assurance, and controlled implementation of design changes
• Oversee review and approval of construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals
• Support BIM coordination and manage as-built documentation through to project handover

About You

• Degree-qualified in MEP or a related engineering discipline, with several years' relevant experience
• Strong background in MEP design coordination, site inspections, and commissioning processes
• Solid working knowledge of BIM, CAD tools, and digital design management
• Confident communicator with a solution-focused mindset and strong stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage
