Qualifications

• DOE, Six Sigma, DFM, and related problem-solving skills are important.
• Experience interfacing with physicians to translate needs into concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects across all stages from concept through commercialization.
• Design and develop new medical devices from concept to validation.
• Work from clinical need to opportunity assessment and device concept to prototype.
• Represent Medtronic with clinicians and distill requirements into specs.
• Coach and delegate work to engineers and contribute to IP generation.
