Job summary

Veolia Energy Services Ireland Limited seeks a Mechanical Shift Technician for a permanent, shift-based role in Clondalkin, Dublin. The position involves 4 blocks of 4 x 12.25h day shifts, followed by 4 blocks of 4 x 12.25h night shifts, with rest days in between.

You will support predictive maintenance, CMMS (Pemac), and operate gas, fuel oil systems, turbines, boilers, and diesel generators. The role requires leadership in decision-making, CMMS expertise, and collaboration with the site team

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset with ability to troubleshoot plant equipment.
• Six Sigma/Lean knowledge preferred for continuous improvement.
• Craft qualification in mechanical discipline with energy equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day work with on-site shift technicians.
• Be the point of contact for service providers and contractors.
• Troubleshoot and investigate faults in utility plant equipment; perform root cause analysis.
