Job summary

Veolia Ireland is seeking an Electrical Shift Technician in Clondalkin, Dublin. The role involves operating a shift pattern of 4x12.25h day shifts and 4x12.25h night shifts, leading the maintenance of HV/LV distribution, turbines, boilers, and generators.

You will coordinate on-site work, mentor technicians, perform root-cause analysis, develop PMs and SOPs, and ensure compliance with safety procedures. The position offers full Veolia benefits and career development within our engineering team.

Qualifications

• Must be a craft qualified electrician with previous experience.
• Experience with HV and LV distribution and energy systems.
• Analytical mindset with Six Sigma/Lean preferred.
• Strong technical writing and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day work with shift technicians and morning handover.
• Lead root cause analysis for plant faults and support maintenance.
• Develop PMs, job plans, and SOPs for plant equipment.
• Support safety procedures and mentor team on deviations.
