Job summary

Lawler Consulting, a multi-disciplinary engineering firm headquartered in Kilkenny with offices in Dublin and London, is seeking a Project Manager to take projects from design stage through delivery on time and on budget. You will liaise with clients, design teams and contractors, manage on-site activities, and prepare weekly and monthly reports.

Candidates should hold a third level degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or a related trade, with experience in client interactions

Qualifications

• Third level degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or a trade background.
• Experience coordinating with clients, design teams and contractors.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE Design Guides, British Standards and Health & Safety Regulations.
• Full Clean Irish/European driving licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Take Projects from Design Stage & deliver on time & on budget.
• Take Brief from Client/Design Team and relay to Design Office.
• Develop close relationships with clients and design team.
• Manage multiple projects on site with Design Department support.
• Carry out Site surveys and relay information to Design Office.
• Issue Weekly Reports to Design Team & Monthly Cost Reports to Client & Design Team.
• Witness commissioning of HVAC, Electrical & Life Safety Systems.
• Snag the installation on completion.
