Lawler Consulting, a multi-disciplinary engineering firm based in Kilkenny, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead mechanical and electrical projects across sectors. The role focuses on delivering on time and budget while coordinating with design teams and clients.

The ideal candidate has a trade qualification, 5+ years in building services supervision, strong communication, and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifications

• Holder of a Trade Qualification in a Mechanical or Electrical field (Level 6 Advanced Craft or equivalent).
• 5+ years' experience in management & supervision of mechanical &/or electrical installations (Building Services).
• Good understanding of Electrical &/or Mechanical Systems (Building Services).
• Experience of client, project team & contractor interaction.
• Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE, Irish Electrical Regulations and health and safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate drawings and specifications with the design department and site team.
• Liaise with client and design team daily/weekly to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Prepare Building Regulations M&E inspection plan and M&E input into compliance documents.
• Attend weekly site meetings and M&E coordination meetings for services installation.
• Review submittals and prepare site-specific method statements for outages and upgrades.
• Manage alterations to utilities and provide information to PSCS/PSDP.
• Advise on cost reduction via value engineering and material reuse.
