Job summary

Quanta Consultancy Services Ltd is seeking a Site Electrical Engineer for an initial 12-month contract in Ireland, Roscommon. The role focuses on safe, compliant electrical operations at the manufacturing site, with responsibility for implementing electrical standards across capital and RTB projects.

Ideal candidates will have an Electrical Engineering degree and substantial experience in regulated environments, including GMP knowledge and live site construction/commissioning support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Level 8) or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in an electrical engineering role within industrial, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or similar regulated environments.
• Experience supporting construction and commissioning activities on live sites.
• Familiarity with GMP requirements and working in regulated manufacturing facilities desirable.

Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and sustainable operation of all electrical infrastructure at our manufacturing site.
• Lead the implementation of our client’s electrical engineering standards into all capital and RTB projects.
• Develop, support and provide electrical design, construction and verification deliverables in accordance with project scope, schedule, and applicable standards, including technical and commercial documentation, technical input and expertise.
• Establish standards for electrical systems and technical documentation relating to electrical systems, meeting applicable industry best practice, national codes and client engineering requirements.
