Job summary

Anduril Industries in Dublin is seeking a Staff Mechanical Engineer to lead rugged-edge enclosure design and provide mechanical leadership within the Voyager team. The role emphasizes sheetmetal, casting, extrusion, and assembly design, with collaboration across hardware, production, and quality teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in R&D mechanical design, strong 3D modelling skills, and experience with PLM systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum 7 years of design experience in an R&D environment.
• Experience with rugged-environment design preferred.
• 3D modelling and PLM experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead enclosure design using sheetmetal, cast, extruded parts and more.
• Collaborate with Hardware team on PCBA and cable design.
• Create and manage parts in the PLM system and liaison with suppliers for custom parts.
• Generate and source prototype parts and off-the-shelf components as needed.
• Assemble and document prototype build and test procedures.
