Job summary

Anduril Industries in Dublin seeks a Staff Mechanical Engineer to design rugged edge technology equipment. The role focuses on mechanical design leadership across enclosure components and collaborations with hardware, procurement, and production teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive 3D modelling experience (Creo/Siemens NX) and a strong background in R&D mechanical engineering, with a track record in bringing parts from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of design experience in an R&D environment.

Responsibilities

• Enclosure design using sheetmetal, turned/milled, injection moulded, cast and extruded parts.
• Collaborate with Hardware team on PCBA and cable design.
• Create and manage parts in PLM system; liaise with suppliers for custom parts.
• Proceed from prototype to production-ready design; generate build instructions.
