Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment in Dublin City Centre is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design and delivery across the full project lifecycle. You will blend hands-on technical design with project leadership, client management and mentoring of engineers.

You will work with BIM, Revit, AutoCAD and sustainability focus; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• At least five years in mechanical building-services design.
• Experience delivering projects in a building-services consultancy.
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD and building services software.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical building-services projects from feasibility through handover.
• Design and review HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation and related systems.
• Produce and review calculations, specs, schedules and reports.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, architectural, sustainability and BIM teams.
• Mentor graduate, junior and intermediate engineers.
