Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Central Engineering team. You will take a senior technical role on high-value data centre, pharmaceutical, life sciences and industrial projects, delivering from design through construction and handover.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years post-graduate experience, strong design and construction knowledge, and proficiency in BIM, Revit and related software. This role offers a competitive package and clear career progression.

Qualifications

7+ years of post-graduate experience in mechanical engineering.
Experience in Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences or Industrial sectors.
Strong design, technical and construction knowledge.
Experience leading meetings and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
Strong knowledge of BIM, Revit and design software.
Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Manage mechanical design packages from initial review through procurement and site delivery
Coordinate with clients, consultants and multidisciplinary teams
Develop scopes of work, TIDPs and responsibility matrices
Review designs for technical compliance, constructability and value engineering
Coordinate Mechanical interfaces with CSA and Electrical disciplines
Support project planning, procurement and design approvals
Conduct site visits and monitor progress and quality
Manage RFIs, design changes and technical documentation
Provide technical guidance to construction teams
Support tenders, PCSAs and project handovers
