Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering in Ireland is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design on challenging projects across pharma, data centers and power sectors. You will own mechanical packages, ensure design governance and drive value through practical engineering solutions.

Working within a vibrant, agile, multi-disciplinary team, you will progress from design through commissioning, with an emphasis on safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical packages.
• Conduct the mechanical engineering and design on the project.
• Develop and track design responsibility matrix/contractor design portion.
• Coordinate and record the execution of FATs and SATs.
• Tag devices and instrumentation; ensure access for commissioning.
• Manage change from a technical perspective; update change logs.
• Assist in technical review of tenders.
