Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to provide technical leadership for AHU, data centre cooling, CRAH, and CDU projects. You will translate complex customer requirements into practical, manufacturable solutions and lead technical discussions from concept to production release.
Responsibilities include coordinating with customers, senior engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure design compliance, prototype validation, and timely project delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to provide technical leadership for custom Air Handling Unit (AHU), Data Centre Cooling, CRAH, Fan Wall, and CDU. The successful candidate will act as the primary technical interface between customers and the engineering organisation, working closely with clients to define requirements, develop innovative solutions, and drive projects from concept through prototype validation and product release. The role requires a highly experienced engineer capable of translating complex customer requirements into practical and manufacturable product solutions. The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for leading technical discussions, reviewing and approving designs, supporting Prototype validation and mentoring mechanical engineers.
