The Senior Mechanical Consultant Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dublin. This position is responsible for leading the mechanical design of building systems and industrial processes, including concept development, detailed design, and performance optimization. Daily activities include preparing and reviewing CAD models and drawings, performing design calculations, conducting site inspections, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical quality and compliance with standards. The role involves advising clients on mechanical system selection, energy efficiency strategies, and low-carbon solutions, as well as supporting maintenance planning and lifecycle considerations. The engineer will mentor junior team members, contribute to project proposals, and help refine internal design processes and best practices.
