Job summary

BMD & Co Ltd is seeking a Construction Manager, Mechanical to lead a team of engineers on a major project. You will drive safety, schedule, and quality while coordinating subcontract work, plans, and constructability studies on site.

Responsibilities include planning, cost control with QS, and reporting progress to clients. A background in pharma/biotech or related sectors is preferred, with NavisWorks proficiency and MSIC desirable.

Qualifications

• Min 5-7 years relevant experience as CM/Project Engineer.
• Experience on mechanical construction projects in Pharma/Biotech/semiconductor/Oil & Gas.
• Experience with equipment installation, piping fabrication, piping installation and pressure testing.
• Degree in Construction, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in NavisWorks or equivalent.
• MSIC certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers to deliver safely, on schedule and to high quality.
• Develop construction execution plans, schedules and subcontract scopes.
• Plan work from initiation through execution and closure for materials and craft requirements.
• Liaise with workshops on prefabrication planning and co-ordinate works.
• Generate weekly/monthly progress reporting to client representatives.
• Attend meetings to ensure successful outcomes for stakeholders.
