Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineering Manager for its Clare, Ireland site. You will lead a high-performing engineering operations team across value streams, ensuring uptime, quality, and compliant, efficient production.

Travel up to 10% to support improvement projects. The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 12+ years in GMP manufacturing engineering, and strong Lean/Six Sigma credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a GMP environment.
• Proven Lean/Six Sigma project delivery; Green/Black Belt preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (filling, assembly, machining, fabrication, automation, labeling, inspection).
• Leadership, coaching and data-driven decision making with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Engineers to drive KPI performance (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity).
• Provide hands-on engineering support to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
• Provide technical leadership on process issues and set technical standards.
• Drive process improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Evaluate and deploy new equipment/automation to boost capability and scalability.
• Partner with Quality to maintain controls, NC/CAPA and regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot new products/process/equipment with cross-functional teams and vendors.
