Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited is seeking a Manufacturing Operations and Industrial Engineering Program Manager to own factory layout and material flow across AWS rack fulfillment sites in Ireland. You will bridge capacity planning, automation, construction, and operations to enable scalable, efficient manufacturing across a global network.

You will lead layout standards, collaborate with engineering and facilities teams, and drive continuous improvement to meet throughput and SLA targets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management with software engineering teams.
• 7+ years of direct engineering-team collaboration.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional programs and release schedules.

Responsibilities

• Translate rack fulfillment capacity plans into data-driven facility layouts across AWS manufacturing.
• Design factory floor layouts including automation lines, manual zones, test positions and flows.
• Develop and maintain industrial simulation models to identify bottlenecks and optimize paths.
• Coordinate power, cooling, network and other infrastructure for production zones.
• Manage phased layout plans aligned with construction milestones and standards.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle time and improve throughput.
• Communicate clearly with executives and cross-functional teams.
• Champion automation education across the organization.
