Job summary

Biogen in Athlone is seeking a Senior Engineer I to provide hands-on process and manufacturing sciences expertise to support tech transfers and ongoing clinical and commercial manufacturing programs. The role requires on-site presence five days a week to collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and partner functions, observing processes in real time.

You'll lead rapid assessments, CAPAs, and data-driven improvements using Tableau, Power BI, Statistica, and SIMCA, and contribute to regulatory

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
Strong expertise in manufacturing sciences for biologics or parenteral products.
Proficiency with data analysis tools Tableau, Power BI, Statistica, and SIMCA.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on, on-site technical leadership during manufacturing operations.
Lead rapid process and product impact assessments and CAPAs.
Engage with Manufacturing, Quality, and Process Engineering to develop SOPs and batch records.
Perform real-time data review and trending using Tableau, Power BI, Statistica, and SIMCA.
Support technology transfers from development and external partners to manufacturing facilities.
Coordinate on-site with teams to ensure rapid alignment during transfers.
Lead on-site expertise for biopharmaceutical manufacturing and process development.
