Role Overview

Sycomp is seeking a Senior Manager, Warehouse & Logistics Operations to lead its Dublin warehouse operation. This role is responsible for day-to-day warehouse performance, inventory accuracy, customer service levels, workforce leadership, operational compliance, and continuous improvement across receiving, storage, order fulfillment, staging, and shipping activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, staging, and shipping activities.
• Lead and develop warehouse supervisors, team leads, and warehouse personnel.
• Ensure operational compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
• Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counting programs, audits, reconciliation processes, and stock investigations.
• Manage customer service levels and operational KPIs, ensuring SLA commitments are consistently achieved.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, accuracy, and cost optimization.
• Develop and maintain warehouse standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate closely with Logistics, Project Management, Integration Services, Procurement, and Customer Operations teams.
• Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics partners.
• Identify and implement process improvements utilizing Lean and operational best practices.
• Ensure accurate reporting of warehouse metrics, workforce performance, and inventory performance.
• Support customer audits and internal compliance reviews.
• Lead workforce planning, scheduling, recruitment, training, and performance management activities.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and highly efficient warehouse operation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or distribution management experience.
• Proven experience managing warehouse operations within a 3PL, contract logistics, or distribution environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience leading medium-to-large warehouse teams.
• Extensive inventory management and stock control experience.
• Strong knowledge of inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics processes.
• Advanced operational reporting and KPI management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and warehouse reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting hyperscale customers.
• Experience handling rack servers, networking equipment, storage devices, or other high-value IT hardware.
• Background in technology logistics, data center logistics, or integration center operations.
• Experience with Oracle systems or Oracle customer programs.
• Exposure to ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent operational excellence methodology.
• Forklift certification or familiarity with warehouse equipment operations.
