Job summary

Elevate Partners, in partnership with a leading global private markets firm, is seeking a senior operations professional to scale its platform. You will work closely with Finance, Investment, Legal and Technology teams to refine operating models and controls.

This role focuses on end-to-end transaction oversight, process redesign and automation, with visible influence on day-to-day activities and risk management as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Extensive fund operations experience in private markets.
• Strong knowledge of investment allocations, fund cash and liquidity management.
• Proven track record leading operational change and automation.
• Experience building controls, procedures and KPI frameworks.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business.
• Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CFA) an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior reviewer across operational activity and controls.
• Oversee the full transaction lifecycle across entities and jurisdictions.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline workflows.
• Develop procedures, control frameworks, governance and documentation.
• Introduce KPIs and management reporting to support growth and risk management.

Elevate Partners is working with a leading global private markets firm that is investing significantly in its operating model as it continues to grow. The business is investing heavily in its operating model, and this is a senior hire to help scale it.

The role

This is a senior operations role in a fast-growing alternatives business. You will be close to day-to-day operations, acting as a second-level reviewer on key processes. You will also lead the change agenda, automating, standardising and building the controls and reporting the platform needs to grow.

Key responsibilities

• Get to know the platform’s operating model, including processes, systems, controls and key stakeholders, and act as a senior reviewer across operational activity
• Oversee the full transaction lifecycle, including deal closings, funding, manager onboarding and execution across multiple entities and jurisdictions
• Find and deliver opportunities to automate and streamline workflows
• Build and improve procedures, control frameworks, governance and documentation
• Introduce KPIs and management reporting to support growth and risk management
• Run several change projects at once, working with Finance, Investment, Legal and Technology teams

What you’ll bring

• Extensive experience in fund operations, investment operations, middle office or private markets operations
• Strong exposure to alternative investments, ideally private markets or credit
• Good knowledge of investment allocations, fund cash and liquidity management, capital calls and distributions
• A track record of leading operational change, such as process redesign, automation or operating model improvement
• Experience building controls, procedures and KPI frameworks
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business.
• A professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CFA) is an advantage.
