ONE HIRING is partnering with a leading Top 10 professional services firm in Dublin to recruit an Associate Director for its growing International Tax team.

This role offers exposure to multinational clients and complex cross-border tax matters, with ownership of key client relationships and involvement in business development, strategy and people leadership.

Formación

• CTA/ACA/ACCA/ATT or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least six years' post-qualification International Tax experience in professional services.
• Strong knowledge of international tax principles and cross-border structuring.
• Experience managing complex client engagements and delivering tax advice.
• Proven track record in building client relationships and team leadership.
• Strong communication, organisational and project management skills.
• Commercial mindset with ability to identify opportunities and drive growth.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an ambitious, expanding and commercially focused practice, advising multinational businesses and internationally focused clients on complex cross-border tax matters.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take ownership of key client relationships, work on high-quality international tax engagements and play an active role in developing the team and growing the practice.

The Opportunity

Joining an established and growing tax practice, you will work closely with senior leadership and a diverse client base, delivering practical, commercially focused advice on a range of international tax matters.

This role would suit an experienced International Tax professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with client relationship management, business development and people leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of international direct tax services to multinational and internationally focused clients across a range of sectors.
• Advise on complex international tax issues, cross-border structuring, transactions and global tax matters.
• Build and develop trusted relationships with clients, understanding their commercial objectives and providing tailored tax solutions.
• Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring delivery to agreed deadlines, budgets and quality standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Irish and international tax network to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Identify business development opportunities, strengthen existing client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the International Tax practice.
• Coach and mentor junior team members, supporting their technical development and career progression.
• Contribute to the commercial management of engagements, including work in progress, recoverability and overall financial performance.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• A relevant professional qualification, such as CTA, ACA, ACCA or ATT.
• At least six years' post-qualification experience in International Tax within a professional services environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of international tax principles, cross-border transactions and international tax structuring.
• Experience managing complex client engagements and delivering commercially focused tax advice.
• A proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing team members.
• Strong communication, organisational and project management skills.
• A commercial mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to business growth.
