Job summary

PwC Ireland is seeking a Senior Manager to join the Corporate Reporting Services team within Assurance. You will provide expert technical advice on corporate reporting standards, including IFRS, Irish/UK GAAP, and ESRS, supporting engagement teams to deliver high-quality services to clients.

You will contribute to ESG reporting initiatives, develop internal guidance, train staff, and participate in global CRS activities, helping clients navigate complex sustainability disclosures and regulatory

Qualifications

• 8+ years in audit, technical accounting or similar roles.
• Professional qualification: ACA, ACCA, AIA or equivalent.
• Experience applying European Sustainability Reporting Standards and/or IFRS SDS is advantageous.
• Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks is advantageous.
• Ability to interpret complex transactions and business drivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and advice on complex sustainability reporting topics (EU CSRD, ESRS, IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards).
• Analyse consistency of client reporting with other corporate reporting.
• Keep up with Irish/European/global regulatory developments in corporate reporting.
• Participate in Global CRS network activities and liaise with senior Global team members.
• Develop internal practice guides, present technical papers, and provide consultations on reporting topics.
• Develop and deliver financial and sustainability reporting training to internal and external audiences.
• Perform pre-issuance technical reviews of sustainability reports for large clients.
