Job summary

ICON plc in Dublin, Ireland, is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to drive CSRD compliance and sustainability reporting. The role leads end‑to‑end CSRD preparation, coordinates policy updates, data governance, and external assurance in collaboration with senior stakeholders across the business.

Hybrid work arrangement and an 18‑month contract are offered. The position requires extensive post‑qualification experience, strong project management, and deep familiarity with CSRD/ESRS

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• 8+ years post‑qualification experience in practice or industry.
• Strong knowledge of CSRD, ESRS and EU sustainability regulations affecting financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead CSRD readiness and delivery of the first FY2027 sustainability statement.
• Refresh DMA per ESRS and coordinate stakeholder engagement.
• Update CSRD Policy Gap Assessment and close identified gaps.
• Address CRA actions and embed climate risk management.
• Oversee ESRS data points collection in Workiva and ensure data quality.
