Job summary

Phorest is seeking a Senior Manager, Creative to lead how our brand looks, sounds, and feels worldwide. You will guide a multidisciplinary studio—design, copy, motion, video—and partner with external agencies to deliver world‑class creative across channels while upholding Phorest’s premium identity.

You will shape strategy, build scalable design systems, and drive campaigns from concept to launch, balancing bold creative with practical execution and measurable impact.

The Opportunity

As the Senior Manager, Creative, you'll lead how Phorest looks, sounds, and feels around the world. Sitting within the Brand & Communications team, you will act as the central creative powerhouse that translates brand strategy, stories, and growth objectives into world-class creative for multi-channel execution. You will shape and protect our visual identity and, in partnership with our Brand Narrative Strategist, our verbal expression - keeping Phorest distinctive, consistent, and deeply relevant to the salons, spas, and clinics we serve. Leading an internal multidisciplinary creative studio (design, copy, motion, video) alongside external agency partners, you will balance creative bravery with premium delivery, challenging briefs, resisting "blanding," and elevating our brand globally.

What You'll Do

• Creative Vision & Roadmap Ownership: Own the creative roadmap for Phorest globally. Proactively identify creative opportunities, challenge briefs, and partner with stakeholders to shape campaign strategy from the outset.
• Brand & Identity Evolution: Evolve, safeguard, and strengthen Phorest's visual identity and verbal expression (in partnership with the Thought Leadership Strategist), maintaining art direction, motion, imagery, and design systems that stay distinctive and coherent across global markets.
• Campaign Storytelling & Creative Direction: Bring bold, unexpected creative concepts to major briefs, product launches, flagship events, and multi-channel campaigns. Set high creative standards across digital, print, motion, and live staging.
• Studio Leadership & Coaching: Lead, mentor, and inspire our multidisciplinary studio team and external agency/freelance partners. Give clear direction and constructive feedback while balancing ambitious ideas with high standards and practical execution.
• Design Systems & Scalable Delivery: Build flexible, reusable design systems, master templates, campaign toolkits, and playbooks that empower wider teams to create consistently without compromising quality.
• Commercial Effectiveness & Review: Own the effectiveness of creative work in supporting acquisition, product adoption, and retention. Review performance alongside stakeholders and use data and audience insights to continuously refine future work.
• Responsible AI Integration: Explore and embed practical AI applications into creative production and ideation to streamline workflows, role-modeling responsible experimentation while keeping human creativity and brand standards paramount.

Who You Are

• Global Brand Leadership: Proven experience shaping, evolving, and protecting the visual identity and creative expression of a global B2B or consumer technology/SaaS brand.
• Creative Bravery & Strategic Judgment: A track record of challenging generic work and pushing creative boundaries, balanced with strong brand judgment that ensures work remains coherent and commercially effective.
• Multidisciplinary Creative Direction: Deep expertise across art direction, visual design, copy, video, motion, and digital experiences across channels.
• Studio & People Leadership: Experienced in leading multidisciplinary creative teams, managing capacity, running constructive creative reviews, and managing agency and freelance partnerships.
• Proactive Campaign Strategy: Proven ability to influence campaign strategy early, challenge briefs constructively, and build alignment with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Design Systems & Scalable Assets: Experience building reusable design systems, master templates, and campaign toolkits that scale globally.
• Tooling & AI Fluency: Hands-on experience with industry-leading design, motion, and production software, combined with a practical curiosity about how AI can responsibly support creative workflows.
• Market Familiarity: Experience or deep empathy for the premium salon, spa, and aesthetic clinic segment is highly advantageous.
