Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, based in Ireland, invites applications for a Senior Manager, Clinical Trial Finance Management within the R&D Project Finance team. The role drives budgeting, accruals, and financial controls across the clinical trial portfolio, aligning with clinical and financial objectives.

You will act as SME for trial finance systems (including Oracle), partner with Clinical Operations and Tech Ops, and lead reporting to guide management decisions. Remote work options are supported.

Qualifications

• Experience in Clinical Trial Financial Management is essential.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech finance roles.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytics skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems; Oracle a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate Clinical Trial Budgets across the R&D portfolio.
• Own Clinical Trial Financial Management processes.
• Seek opportunities for continuous process improvement.
• Serve as SME for Clinical Trial Financial Management Systems (Oracle).
• Review/approve clinical trial contracts and amendments with financial terms.
• Prepare financial reports/analyses to aid management decisions.
• Perform monthly accruals for clinical trial contracts.
• Develop, manage, and track trial budgets with R&D functions.
• Post monthly/quarterly journal entries for Clinical Trials.
• Act as liaison between Finance and R&D teams to provide financial guidance.
• Ensure internal controls within assigned areas.
