Job summary

Engage People Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant / Management Accountant (Part Qual) to join a growing, fast-paced finance team in Dublin. Reporting to the Finance Director Ireland, you will work closely with Finance Managers across month-end close, reconciliations, reporting and process improvement.

The role offers exposure to month-end, VAT, balance sheet reconciliations and ad hoc project work, with genuine scope for progression.

Qualifications

• Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or Accounting Technician.
• 3+ years of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations and month-end processes.
• Proficient with Excel and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Bank and intercompany reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Supporting the month-end close, including accounts preparation and schedules.
• Balance sheet reconciliations including VAT, stock, grants and other control accounts.
• Expense processing and reporting.
• Assisting with VAT reporting and preparation.
• Preparing weekly, monthly and ad-hoc financial reports.
• Supporting audit requirements and preparing schedules and documentation.
• Assisting with finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
