Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a dedicated Financial Controller for its Dublin entities within the EMEA Merchant Services Finance team. You will own month-end close, drive P&L/B/S reconciliations, and coordinate statutory accounts, with exposure to external audits and regulatory reporting.

The role focuses on governance and control, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory duties within a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial control within a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong close processes, balance sheet substantiation, and control frameworks.
• Experience supporting audits and providing clear, timely audit evidence.
• Ability to deliver accurate reporting under tight deadlines with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close ownership for Income Statement and Balance Sheet with governance.
• Reconcile P&L and Balance Sheet with Product Control and maintain supporting evidence.
• Assist in preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage follow-up queries to resolution.
• Prepare Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) reporting for quarterly and annual returns.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting decks for senior management and board.
