Singlepoint is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our agile development team in Dublin. You will work with engineers and testers to create mobile and web applications for our clients, delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in Java, strong database skills, and hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, microservices, AWS and SOA. You will contribute to design, implementation, and deployment while embracing new technologies and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with Java stack.
• Experience in cross-functional Scrum teams.
• Strong MySQL database development experience.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Experience with AWS technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and estimate development tasks in SCRUM team.
• Implement features per technical design for new features and changes to existing components.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle of new functionality and enhancements to existing applications.
• Deliver high quality, highly performant software within agreed time estimates and quality standards.
• Participate in changes and continuous improvements to development, testing and deployment processes.
• Hands-on in a fast-paced agile work environment supporting colleagues as required.
• Collaborate with multiple business and technical teams.
