Job summary

The Recruitment Company is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a long-term contracting role in Limerick. The position offers hybrid working with one day onsite per week and a daily rate of €450 - €500 on a rolling 6-month contract, ideal for delivering on large enterprise modernization projects.

The role requires strong experience in Java, enterprise microservices, APIs, cloud-native tech, and a track record of guiding architecture decisions and improving development tooling and processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years Java Development Experience.
• Strong experience with enterprise microservices environments, building scalable services / APIs, cloud native tech.
• Ability to design solutions, understand bottlenecks and how to fix them.
• Experience helping implement AI tooling, identifying dev tooling inefficiencies and improving processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a large modernisation programme in a senior capacity.
• Deliver on large enterprise projects and transform legacy applications.
• Assist architects to define the best path forward for solutions.
