Job summary

IT Search is assisting a multinational biometrics leader in Dublin City to recruit a Java Architect Developer. This hands-on role requires shaping the full stack for a security‑focused SaaS product, with three days onsite per week.

You will align performance requirements across UI to backend Java, drive AWS deployment, document decisions, and provide technical leadership to a growing engineering team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of postgrad development/architecture experience, with at least 4+ years in leadership.
• Hands-on with microservices, APIs, SaaS delivery, and AWS deployment.
• Design and architecture experience focusing on security, scalability, reliability, and observability.
• Exposure to Agentic AI and its impact on security and SaaS products.
• Excellent communication for non-technical audiences; technical leadership and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Define and architect the full stack for existing and future SaaS product.
• Collaborate with internal and client teams to embed performance requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation for architectural decisions.
