Job summary

SSE plc is seeking an Investment & Commercial Manager to protect and grow the value of major renewable energy investments, especially offshore wind. Based in UK & Ireland with a preference for Dublin or other key sites, you will use commercial insight and financial analysis to support decisions and long-term value creation.

You will collaborate across teams to align strategy, manage uncertainty and ensure revenue and compliance across the portfolio.

Qualifications

Strong commercial and financial skills applied to complex projects/investments
Experience with contracts and negotiations
Confident with financial models and interpretation
Ability to influence and collaborate across teams
Curious, improvement-focused mindset delivering value in changing environments

Responsibilities

Maximise value across renewable energy investments by identifying revenue opportunities, cost reductions, and risk management.
Provide commercial and financial insight to support investment decisions across complex projects and portfolios.
Lead commercial input into key contracts, collaborating with procurement, legal and operations.
Challenge financial models to test assumptions and support robust decisions.
Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to align strategy and unlock portfolio-wide benefits.
Ensure revenue and compliance with BM, ancillary services and REGO requirements across the portfolio.
