Tata Consultancy Services UK&I in Letterkenny is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to develop, enhance and support enterprise integration using SSIS, Azure Data Factory and Azure Integration Services. You will deliver secure, reliable interfaces across a modern integration landscape while guiding junior engineers in a hybrid setup.

• 8+ years of integration engineering experience.

• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills with REST and SOAP API integration.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, monitoring and performance optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SSIS packages, Azure Data Factory pipelines and enterprise integration workflows.
• Implement application and data interfaces using Logic Apps, Azure Functions and relevant integration services.
• Create and maintain secure REST or SOAP API integrations and messaging-based data exchanges.
• Implement transformation, validation, retry, logging and error handling; troubleshoot failures and performance bottlenecks.
• Perform testing, optimisation, deployment and production support; maintain interface documentation and guide junior engineers.

The Role

Develop, enhance and support enterprise integration and ETL components using SSIS, Azure Data Factory and Azure Integration Services for a leading UK higher education organisation. You will deliver secure, reliable and monitored interfaces across a modern integration landscape.

• Deliver business-critical integrations using SSIS, Azure Data Factory and Azure Integration Services.
• Work across APIs, messaging, serverless workflows and enterprise data movement technologies.
• Use your experience to improve engineering quality, resolve complex issues and guide junior team members.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SSIS packages, Azure Data Factory pipelines and enterprise integration workflows.
• Implement application and data interfaces using approved patterns, Logic Apps, Azure Functions and relevant integration services.
• Create and maintain secure REST or SOAP API integrations and messaging-based data exchanges.
• Implement transformation, validation, retry, logging and error handling; troubleshoot failures and performance bottlenecks.
• Perform testing, optimisation, deployment and production support; maintain interface documentation and guide junior engineers.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• 8+ years of relevant integration engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory and Azure Integration Services.
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus or an equivalent messaging service.
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills with REST and SOAP API integration experience.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, release processes, monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Experience supporting scheduled and event-driven integrations in production and conducting peer code review.
