Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is expanding its Insurance team, inviting experienced professionals to work on compliance and financial operations for a range of clients.

You will deliver high-quality accounting advice, support monthly processes, and help drive efficiencies through process improvements. This role offers exposure to IFRS and Irish/UK GAAP, with a focus on client service excellence.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of practical experience in accounting, preferably in the Insurance sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and statutory accounting.
• Experience in relationship management with senior stakeholders.
• Awareness of IFRS, Irish and UK GAAP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance assignments for multinational clients in insurance finance.
• Support internal finance teams and outsourced client services.
• Develop understanding of client operations and business objectives.
• Provide accounting advice on IFRS and GAAP issues.
• Identify opportunities and promote FAAS services to clients.
