Job summary

PTSB in Dublin seeks a Senior Ingres Developer to own technical aspects for the team, guiding changes, researching new tech, and steering architectural design decisions. The role focuses on fit-for-purpose solutions aligned to commercial and strategic bank initiatives.

You will work with project teams to ensure high-quality delivery, maintain design documents for the Asset Finance application, and lead efforts toward continuous improvement in processes and systems within a hybrid Dublin setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an environment of innovation and continuous improvement focusing on quality, cost reduction and process development.
• Provide support to IT Management in implementing changes to processes and systems to improve productivity and service.
• Maintain service quality and standards, and ensure Technical Design documents for the Asset Finance application are current and relevant.
• Identify and mitigate risks; ensure compliance with regulatory directives and protect the bank's reputation.
