Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead cost management on large-scale civil projects. You will analyse project documents, prepare detailed estimates, and coordinate with engineers and management to ensure cost efficiency and timely reporting.

You will mentor junior estimators, review pricing with suppliers, and apply industry standards including NEC contracts. This role offers a path to global opportunities and a dynamic, collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in cost management and estimation.
• 5+ years experience on civil/rail/transit/airport or commercial construction projects.
• Familiar with DBB/DB/CMAR/GMP contracting approaches.
• Experience with Candy, CostX or similar estimating software.
• Experience implementing costing frameworks within a PMO.
• Experience on large civil engineering projects in rail/water/aviation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates with appropriate detail level.
• Analyze documents and plans to identify cost drivers.
• Evaluate risks and opportunities affecting budget.
• Present cost estimates to senior management, contractors and vendors.
• Source up-to-date pricing data to support estimates.
• Review and finalize estimates for current market conditions.
• Mentor junior estimators and support reporting of estimate changes.
• Coordinate with project management and engineering on scope.
