Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Senior Information Security Infrastructure Engineer to protect our data and systems. You will own the telemetry pipeline from new data sources to indices, ensuring consistent ingestion and healthy clusters.

You will manage Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes, upgrade cycles, ILM, and cross-cluster search while leveraging Terraform to provision resources and CI/CD tooling for reliable operations. Strong AI-driven automation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Elastic/Elasticsearch in production with ingest pipelines, mappings and ILM.
• Proven track record using AI to accelerate development and operations while owning outcomes.
• Experience deploying and operating workloads on Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure using Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Ingest security telemetry into Elasticsearch end-to-end across sources and integrations.
• Maintain Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes clusters, monitor health, upgrades, capacity and CCS.
• Use Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure and Elasticsearch resources; deploy pipelines and alerts.
• Develop AI automation and tooling to reduce toil, including self-healing jobs and health checks.
• Ensure data quality and cost control by monitoring schemas and backfills.
