Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to join the Business Security Enablement team. The role focuses on secure engineering across applications, mobile, web services, DevOps, cloud, GenAI, LLM models, and CI/CD efforts.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in information security disciplines.
• CISSP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of security protocols and standards.
• Experience in software security architecture and secure designs.
• Programming language experience is required.
• Cryptography knowledge including encryption and digital certificates.

Responsibilities

• Apply security principles to technology reviews and automation initiatives.
• Review third-party technologies and internal applications for security.
• Define secure design and architecture for new/enhanced systems.
• Ensure security policies and standards are followed across projects.
• Provide guidance to development teams on secure SDLC, cloud, and GenAI governance.
