Job summary

Auxilion is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to shape and deliver the organisation's information security and IT risk strategy. The role is based onsite in South County Dublin with hybrid flexibility, reporting to the CISO.

You will lead advanced security solutions, threat modelling and risk assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance and strong governance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in senior information security, hands-on incident response, and experience with ISO27001,

Qualifications

• Requires a Third Level degree in computer science or IT.
• 5+ years in a senior information security role.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM are preferred.
• Experience delivering ISO 27001 implementations and audit prep.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and troubleshoot advanced security solutions to improve security posture.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat modelling and risk analysis.
• Lead security assessments of vendors and service providers.
• Guide change and project teams on security requirements and controls.
• Maintain a unified control framework aligned to regulatory expectations.
