Job summary

Google LLC in Ireland (Dublin) is seeking a seasoned Information Security Incident Response professional to join the Core team. You will coordinate with intrusion detection analysts, privacy, product and legal experts to resolve security incidents across Google’s products.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products, owning design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years incident response or emergency management experience.
• 2 years as a technical security professional with digital forensics or systems administration.
• Experience with executive or customer stakeholder management and communication.
• Experience with a data-driven approach to solving information security issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations of security and privacy incidents, analyzing data sources to assess risk and impact and communicate with stakeholders.
• Respond to large-scale incidents, write comprehensive reports and contribute to post-incident analysis.
• Drive improvements in incident management processes leveraging tools and infrastructure.
• Build and maintain relationships with Legal, Engineering, and Communications teams.
