Job summary

Spot Recruitment is working with an international technology group recruiting for an Irish-qualified solicitor to lead the in-house legal function. The role reports directly to the CFO/CEO with dotted line to the Group General Counsel and some travel involved.

The successful candidate will draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, oversee corporate work including M&A, governance and company secretarial, and manage data protection, compliance and external counsel and

Qualifications

• Irish-qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE.
• Broad commercial background with international exposure.
• Commercially minded and business-facing with travel willingness.

• Standalone legal role reporting directly to CFO/CEO, with a dotted line into Group General Counsel.

The Role:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts.
• Corporate work including M&A, governance and company secretarial, plus management of the group's IP portfolio.
• Owning data protection, compliance and risk best practice, and managing external counsel and legal spend.

The Person:

• Irish-qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE.
• Broad commercial background with international or multi-jurisdictional exposure — in-house or practice.
• Commercially minded and comfortable being the go-to legal voice across the business. Some travel involved.
