Job summary

Acuity Inc. is seeking a senior Identity & Access Management architect to lead the design and delivery of a unified IAM and CIAM platform.

You will shape authentication and authorization across internal and customer-facing products, collaborating with security, engineering, and product teams to enable secure, scalable access at scale. You will work with Microsoft Entra ID, Okta and related standards (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML) to implement MFA, passwordless and adaptable access, while aligning with

Qualifications

Minimum 8–12 years in software engineering, security, or identity domains
Minimum 5+ years hands-on IAM/CIAM implementations
Experience designing identity solutions at scale (multi-application, multi-tenant)
Experience with authentication (AuthN) and authorization (AuthZ)
Hands-on with Entra ID (Azure AD/B2C) and Okta or equivalent

Responsibilities

Define and evolve IAM/CIAM architecture aligned to Zero Trust and enterprise security
Design scalable authentication and authorization models across platforms
Drive platform selection, integration strategy, and roadmap for identity capabilities
Lead design and implementation of identity solutions using Entra ID, Okta, Auth0, Ping
Build authentication flows (SSO, MFA, passwordless) and RBAC/ABAC
Design CIAM customer-facing services: self-service onboarding, lifecycle management
Enforce MFA, adaptive authentication, and conditional access policies
Integrate identity services into apps via SDKs, APIs, and patterns
Ensure scalability, security, and observability of identity platforms
Collaborate with engineering to enable identity across products
