Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Lead I&C/Life Safety Systems Engineer to act as the senior technical lead on complex projects in Ireland. You will guide Instrumentation & Control and Life Safety design across multi‑discipline teams, ensuring safe, compliant, constructible solutions aligned with scope, budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• A Third Level Degree in an associated discipline.
• 5-8 years' experience as a Senior Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject-matter expert for I&C and Life Safety Systems within the project or department, leading and controlling the technical design approach.
• Independently lead design activities coordinating with multi-discipline engineering and design teams.
• Prepare and review engineering studies, basis of design documents, schematic designs, control philosophies, system descriptions, and design deliverables for new and existing systems.
• Develop, review, and coordinate I&C and LSS design deliverables including instrument lists, instrument datasheets, cable schedules, control system architecture, panel design information, installation details, and P&ID control content.
