Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Lead I&C / Life Safety Systems Engineer to act as a senior technical lead on complex facilities, including semiconductor, data centre, and pharmaceutical projects. You will guide I&C and LSS design, mentor engineers, and ensure safety, compliance, and constructability across disciplines.

Responsibilities include coordinating with architecture, electrical, mechanical, and process teams, developing control architectures, and producing instrument datasheets, P&ID content, and

Qualifications

• A Third Level Degree in an associated discipline.
• 5-8 years’ experience as a Senior Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Lead I&C and Life Safety design activities across multi-discipline projects.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and interface with clients and vendors.
• Develop plant control narratives, system descriptions, and P&ID content.
• Review datasheets, instrument lists, and cable schedules.
• Support design reviews, risk assessments, and HAZOP/HAZID sessions.
• Ensure designs meet EU/UK/Irish/US standards and project scope.
