Senior Hydrogeologist
Dublin
€55,000 – €65,000 + Benefits
Experienced in Hydrogeology and looking for a role where you can take greater ownership of projects while remaining technically involved?
This Dublin role combines technical Hydrogeology with project delivery across renewables, infrastructure, power, industrial and built environment projects. You’ll work within an established Hydrogeology & Hydrology team, taking responsibility for assessments, field programmes and project delivery.
You’ll also gain exposure to hydrology, flood risk and drainage, working alongside specialists across the wider water and environmental disciplines.
You’ll have substantial experience in Hydrogeology and/or Hydrology, ideally gained within consultancy or a similar commercial environment, together with a degree in Geoscience, Hydrogeology, Hydrology or a related discipline.
Experience delivering EIA water assessments, developing Conceptual Site Models and managing field programmes is particularly relevant. You’ll also need strong technical reporting, project management and stakeholder engagement skills, together with knowledge of water permitting or licensing.
GIS experience would be useful, and a full clean driving licence is required.
This is a good opportunity if you want greater responsibility for technical and project delivery without moving away from hands‑on Hydrogeology.
The package includes €55,000 – €65,000, discretionary bonus, pension, private medical insurance and 25 days’ annual leave. Hybrid and flexible working are available, alongside structured professional development and support towards professional qualifications.
