We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Senior HR Generalist to join our clients growing SaaS organisation. This role will provide both strategic and operational HR support across the business, partnering with managers and employees to drive a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance, engagement, and organisational effectiveness.
The successful candidate will bring a strong HR generalist background and experience supporting organisations through growth, transformation, and day-to-day people management challenges. They will work closely with leaders across the business to deliver practical HR solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering
- Build trusted relationships with leaders and managers across the organisation.
- Provide HR support and coaching to help drive business performance.
- Partner with stakeholders on workforce planning and organisational effectiveness initiatives.
- Support leadership teams through periods of change and business growth.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Support end-to-end recruitment activities across technical and non-technical functions.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and improve hiring outcomes.
- Ensure a positive candidate and onboarding experience.
- Support talent attraction, retention, and succession planning initiatives.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Assist in the design and implementation of employee engagement programmes.
- Support initiatives focused on employee wellbeing, retention, and organisational culture.
- Analyse engagement feedback and recommend improvement actions.
- Promote company values and foster a high-performing, inclusive workplace.
HR Policy, Compliance & Governance
- Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures in line with employment legislation and best practice.
- Ensure compliance with employment law and internal governance requirements.
- Support audits, reporting, and HR documentation management.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR data.
Learning & Development
- Identify development needs across the business.
- Support the delivery of learning and development initiatives.
- Assist managers in creating development plans for employees.
- Encourage a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Change & Transformation
- Support organisational change projects and transformation initiatives.
- Assist with restructures, organisational design, and change communications.
- Help leaders navigate people-related change effectively and sensitively.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Senior HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or Senior Generalist role.
- Sound understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Experience supporting recruitment and talent acquisition activities.
- Ability to influence and build credibility with managers and senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, growing business environment.
- Experience within a SaaS, technology, or high-growth company.
- CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience supporting change management or transformation programmes.
- Familiarity with HRIS and people analytics tools.
