highr invites an experienced Senior Health & Safety Advisor to join its Dublin-based team on major building projects. You will implement H&S policies, provide expert advice to Project Managers and site teams, and drive regular inspections and risk assessments to uphold Irish H&S standards.

You will review RAMS, conduct inductions, monitor subcontractors and investigate incidents while mentoring junior staff and promoting a proactive safety culture on site.

Formación

• Relevant third-level qualification in Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• Excellent understanding of risk assessments, method statements and site safety management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and maintain company Health & Safety policies and procedures across assigned projects.
• Provide professional H&S advice and support to Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and safety reviews.
• Identify hazards and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
• Review RAMS, method statements, risk assessments and subcontractor safety documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Irish Health & Safety legislation and company standards.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings where required.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and challenge unsafe working practices.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses and prepare appropriate reports.
• Maintain accurate H&S records and project documentation.
• Support the preparation and implementation of project-specific Health & Safety plans.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other project stakeholders regarding H&S matters.
• Promote a positive safety culture across project teams.
• Mentor and support junior Health & Safety personnel where required.
• Monitor emerging risks and recommend improvements to site practices and procedures.
• Assist project management teams in achieving company H&S targets and KPIs.
