Job summary

The Address Connolly seeks a Senior Hotel Accountant to lead financial recording, analysis, and reporting for the property. You will support budgeting, audit prep and ensure robust internal controls while collaborating with management to maintain profitability and accurate financials.

Ideal candidates will have hotel accounting experience, be part-qualified or qualified by experience, and possess strong IT skills with knowledge of hotel systems.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Two years of accounting experience in hotels preferred.
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Effective roster management to match business demands and revenue expectations.
• Weekly revenue forecasting for Food, Beverage, and Spa.
• Payroll processing and payroll-related activities (P30 returns).
• Preparation of month-end accounts including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations; bi-monthly VAT returns.
• Purchase and stock management aligned with department needs.
• Assist in year-end audit with auditors.
• Assist in monthly forecasts and annual budget process.
• Ensure robust financial controls and regulatory compliance.
• Advise on financial impact to support budgeting across departments.
• Manage income from card, cash, cheque, and bank transfers.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties.
