Job summary

The Address Collective is seeking a Senior Hotel Accountant in Dublin to oversee financial reporting, analysis, and controls for our properties. You will contribute to annual budget processes and assist with audit preparation, supporting our teams in delivering exceptional guest journeys.

Ideal candidates have hotel accounting experience and are part-qualified or qualified by experience, with proficiency in hotel systems and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• At least two years Accounting experience.
• Hotel Accounting experience.
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Effective Roster Management to adjust to business demands and revenue expectations.
• Weekly Revenue Forecasting for Food, Beverage and Spa.
• Payroll Processing and payroll related activities (P30 returns).
• Preparation of Month end Accounts including P&L and Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Bimonthly VAT Returns.
• Effective Purchase & Stock Management to align with business requirements.
• Assistance in end of year audit working closely with auditors.
• Assistance in Monthly Forecasts & Annual Budget process.
• Ensuring Robust Financial Controls across the Business ensuring the business operates in compliance with relevant processes, laws and regulations.
• Ensuring the company remains profitable through effective budget management.
• Ensuring effective income management for card, cash, cheque and bank transfers.
• Any other ad-hoc duties
