Job summary

ICDS Group seeks an experienced Building Services Manager with a strong Mechanical background to join the project team on a major hospital development in Dublin.

The role focuses on delivering mechanical and building services on site, coordinating M&E activities with the project team, subcontractors and design teams, and ensuring compliance with Irish standards, safety and project timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience as Building Services Manager or similar.
• Strong mechanical building services background (HVAC, plumbing).
• Experience on large-scale construction projects.
• Healthcare/hospital experience desirable.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of mechanical and building services packages on the project.
• Coordinate M&E activities with construction, subcontractors and design teams.
• Oversee mechanical installations to meet specification, programme and quality standards.
• Coordinate commissioning, testing and handover of mechanical systems.
• Review drawings and technical submissions; identify and resolve issues.
• Attend project and coordination meetings; provide progress updates.
• Monitor programme, quality, safety and commercial performance.
• Ensure works comply with Irish standards and project requirements.
