Virtue Integrated Elder Care in the South Dublin region is seeking a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our premium nursing home team.

The role focuses on supervising care staff, coordinating onboarding for new residents, and delivering high-quality daily living support to residents at The Fern Dean Stepaside, Kilgobbin, Dublin 18.

Qualifikationen

• QQI Level 5 Award in Healthcare or equivalent.
• 2+ years elder care experience.
• Strong motivational and supervisory abilities.
• Excellent communication and personal care skills.
• Ability to train and develop care assistants.
• Nursing or Allied Health Degree acceptable.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to and enhance resident activities and events.
• Supervise and assist with training and development of care staff.
• Coordinate reception of new residents with Unit PIC and CNM for onboarding.

Senior Healthcare Assistant | South Dublin

We are currently recruiting for Senior Healthcare Assistants in the South Dublin Region.

Location

• The Fern Dean Stepaside, Kilgobbin, Dublin 18.

Contract Type

Permanent, fulltime - 39 hours per week.

Salary/Pay

€32,691 per annum

Duties Include

• Contribute to and enhance the quality of resident activities and events.
• To supervise and assist with the training and development of care assistants and appraise staff as requested.
• By liaising with the Unit PIC and CNM ensure that adequate arrangements are made for the reception of new Residents, and that they are made to feel welcome and secure.
• Ensure highest quality care is delivered by Healthcare Assistants to assigned residents.
• Participate in assigned and delegated tasks involving direct care and all activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of your line manager e.g., washing, toileting, dressing, undressing, dining, social activities, conversation, communication support and all other aspects of daily living
• Support the nursing staff in the organizing of day-to-day allocation of work.

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 Award - Healthcare or equivalent
• Excellent track record as a high performing Healthcare worker
• Elder care experience. (2 years + experience)
• Ability to motivate, supervise and inspire colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent personal care abilities
